JAMESTOWN – Jamestown police have charged a city woman after an investigation into the sale of Heroin and it’s the second time in just two months that she’s been arrested on drug charges.
City police say 28 year old Leslie Rodriguez was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence. She was arrested Wednesday following a drug raid at her upstairs apartment, located at 614 Spring St.
Police say during the investigation they found a quantity of heroin and approximately $6,000 cash. She was transported to city jail and is awaiting arraignment.
In April, Rodriguez was one of several arrested after police conducted drug raids at seven different locations in the city. During that arrest, she was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. She posted bail shortly afterward.
