JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a second person allegedly involved with a meth lab that was discovered late last week.

On Thursday, officers arrested 20 year old Alexander Jankowiak after it was discovered he was making meth using the one pot or shake and bake method inside the upper apartment at 242 McKinley Ave.

A further investigation has led police to believe a second person was also involved and an felony arrest warrant has been issued for 30 year old Beau Jones.

The felony warrants are for criminal possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree and unlawful manufacture of Methamphetamine in the 2nd Degree. There is also an additional warrant for Jones for criminal impersonation in the 2nd degree as he gave a false name to an officer on the day of the incident in an effort to avoid apprehension.

Anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of Beau Jones is asked to contact the Jamestown Police Department at 483-7537. Anonymous calls can also be made at 483-Tips.
