JAMESTOWN – City Police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate an armed robbery that took place early Tuesday morning at a gas station on the city’s west side.
Police say the Kwik Fill Store on W. 3rd St. was held up at about 1 a.m. Tuesday morning by a man wearing a bandana over his face and armed with a silver revolver. The man took an unknown amount of money from the clerk before fleeing toward Kenmore Ave.
Police are asking for anyone who may recognize the sweatshirt or clothing in a photo provided by police to contact them.
