JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police are asking for the public’s help in providing information on a shooting incident that occurred over the weekend at a bar on the city’s east side.
According to the Post-Journal, Police were called to the Bullfrog Hotel Bar and Grill on E. Second St. shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Saturday to respond to a shooting incident.
The incident occurred after an altercation took place between two people in a hallway leading into the bar. The victim was struck twice and taken to UPMC Chautauqua and later transferred to UPMC Hamot in Erie where he is now in stable condition.
The individual who fired the gun is reportedly cooperating with law enforcement, but Jamestown police are also seeking potential witnesses.
