City Police Investigate Robbery of North Main St. 7-Eleven

JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police are searching for a man who robbed the 7-Eleven store on North Main Street early Monday morning.

According to police, a white male wearing tan Carhartt overalls, a light gray hooded sweatshirt and with his face covered by an orange bandana, entered the store with a knife in hand and demanded money. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes, the man left the store on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male standing 5-9 and with a medium build. Anyone with information should call Jamestown Police at 483-7531 or leave an anonymous tip at 483-Tips (8477). All calls will be kept confidential.
