JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police are investigating a shooting incident on the city’s east side that left one person injured.
The shooting took place at about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Bowen and Peach streets. When EMS arrived on the scene, an unidentified man was found lying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man was then taken to UPMC Chautauqua WCA hospital for treatment of the non-life threatening injury.
No suspect or arrest was announced by Tuesday night.
