JAMESTOWN – The fight against the illegal sale of narcotics continues in Jamestown with city police arresting five more people on Thursday.
Jamestown Police say search warrants were executed at two residences on East Second Street around 10 a.m. Thursday morning. One address was a vacant second floor apartment at 1091 E. Second St. that was apparently broken into and used as a place to sell and use heroin. Police located 36 bundles of heroin and cash inside.
Four individuals were taken into custody and face burglary and drug charges. They include 51 year-old Jose Diaz-Solis, 37 year-old Cesar Santiago, 31 year-old Hiram Donato and 30 year -old LizMarie Rodriguez.
Police say they found a quantity of marijuana and cash during a second raid at 840 E. Second St. Police arrested 20 year-old Valerie Comacho and charged her with unlawful possession of marijuana and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
