JAMESTOWN – Jamestown police have made yet another arrest in the ongoing war against the illegal sale and trafficking of heroin in the city.
According to a police report, investigators from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Wednesday afternoon inside the lower apartment 609 E. Eighth St. after a short investigation into the sales and trafficking of narcotics from the residence was opened.
At 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, investigators from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force went into the location and took two people into custody. Investigators also recovered more than 100 doses (10 bundles) of heroin and more than $10,000 cash.
Located inside the residence and charged were 48 year-old Ricky Baucher of Jamestown and 44 year old Nicole Foster – a Tennessee resident who was staying with Baucher. Both have been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and are currently in the city jail awaiting arraignment.
