JAMESTOWN – City police arrested two juveniles Thursday afternoon following an investigation into a burglary that took place on the city’s south side.
According to Jamestown Police Captain Robert Samuelson, police were investigating a home burglary that took place last weekend on three separate occasions. Among the items taken from the home was a handgun and a rifle. Following an investigation, two 16 year olds, whose names are not being released, were taken into custody and charged with 2nd degree burglary and sent to the county jail. The two guns that were taken have also been recovered.
Police say more information into the incident, along with additional arrests and more charges, are expected.
