JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown who’s no stranger to local law enforcement has been arrested yet again.
City police say 30 year old Rocco Beardsley was arrested over the weekend following an investigation into an assault incident that took place on January 23.
Police say a male victim reported that he was assaulted with a baseball bat and robbed of his money by several subjects while at the residence at 248 Broadhead Ave. The victim was injured so badly that he had to be taken to WCA and later transferred to Hamot Medical Center.
The Investigation revealed that Beardsley and a 16 year old, whose name is not being released, allegedly attacked and robbed the victim.
Both have been charged with 2nd degree assault and 1st degree robbery and have been sent to the county jail.
Beardlsey has been charged numerous times in the past, mostly for drug-related offenses. According to the Post-Journal, it was the 13th time police have arrested Beardlsey in the past 12 years.
