JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Police Department is reporting that they have located and charged two individuals for the July 24 shooting that took place at Tops Markets on Washington St.
According to police, the shooting caused serious injury to a Jamestown an unidentified resident who was shot several times as he walked toward the store.
Investigators have also located the vehicle parked that was being sought in connection to the incident on a southside street, unoccupied. Investigators have also located and charged anotherJamestown man in connection to the shooting.
At this time the identity of the suspects is not being released. They will be charged with 1st degree Assault and are both being held in the Jamestown City Jail without bail. The victim is still in critical condition at ECMC in Buffalo.
Additional charges are possible pending further investigation.
