JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Planning Commission will hold its monthly meeting Tuesday afternoon at city hall.
Among the items on the agenda is a Statement of Environmental Impact for the Sheldon House. The commission is expected to Discuss and approve a letter from the Planning Commission to the Zoning Board of Appeals regarding potential environmental impacts of the purchase and re-use of the Sheldon House (Lakeview Ave.) from Jamestown Community College to the Lynn Development Group.
Next month the city zoning board is expected to review the study and then decide whether or not to approve a zoning variance that would allow the Sheldon House to be used as business headquarters for the Lynn Group. Currently the house sits in an area that is zoned for residential use only.
Tuesday’s meeting will be held in the Mayor’s Conference Room, 4th floor, Municipal Building at 3:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
