JAMESTOWN – The warm weather may be coming to an end, but that’s not slowing down development in Jamestown.
This afternoon, officials from city hall, including Jamestown Mayor Sam Teresi, will be hosting a ribbon-cutting of the recently completed Phase IV of the city’s River Walk project, known as the North Shore Extension, located just to the west of Main Street.
In addition, a ground-breaking ceremony for the soon-to-be-constructed Phase V: Chadakoin Park Bike Trail will also take place today. The ribbon-cutting will start at 2:30 p.m. near the North Shore Extension behind Blackstone-Ney on North Main Street.
The ground-breaking for Phase V will immediately follow at Clifton Avenue near Fluvanna Avenue. A CARTS bus will be available to take participants to and from the ground-breaking.
