BEMUS POINT – A Jamestown man was sent to the county jail over the weekend after a traffic stop in Bemus Point turned up various drugs as well as cash.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office say 49-year-old Jeffrey Myers was taken into custody following a traffic stop in which he was a passenger.
The traffic stop occurred around 1:45 p.m. Saturday on Main Street in Bemus Point. With the help of a K9 Unit, Myers was allegedly found in possession of heroin, methamphetamine, Suboxone, prescription pills, $2800 cash, as well as materials used for packaging and selling drugs.
Myers was taken into custody on related charges, arraigned, and sent to the county jail without bail.
