JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man is facing lengthy jail time if convicted of charges of trafficking cocaine in Jamestown.
Police say while investigating the trafficking of cocaine, they searched a home at 18 Columbia Avenue. Armed with a search warrant, they entered the home of 34 year-old Gerald W. Rivera Jr. and searched inside.
Jamestown Police Officers say they found powder cocaine and drug paraphernalia. The discovery led police to charge Rivera with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Additional charges could be filed as the investigation continues, police say.
