JAMESTOWN – A city man faces charges related to making methamphetamine following an arrest late last week by city police.
Jamestown police say 27 year-old Steven Whalen was arrested Thursday afternoon following an investigation at his home at 115 Wilton Ave. Police say Whalen was wanted for violating probation and when officers arrived at his home they spotted items used to make meth. A further investigation found a small meth making operation inside the residence. Police also learned that a 3 year old was living in the home at the time.
Whalen was charged with unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine and endangering the welfare of a child and sent to the county jail following arraignment.
