JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man was arrested early Friday night for allegedly unhooking a stove’s gas line in an attempt to harm people inside a residence on the city’s north side.
Jamestown Police say they arrested Justin Traver after being called to 11 W. 10th St. on early Friday night for a reported disorderly male. Police learned Traver allegedly unhooked the gas line to a stove, with people still inside the home.
The home’s occupants were removed from the residence as members of the Jamestown Fire Department arrived on scene and reconnected the gas line to the stove.
