JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police have arrested a city man who was involved with holding up a convenience store in the city Friday afternoon.
Jamestown police say 48 year-old Reinaldo Lugo was charged with third-degree robbery and grand larceny.
Lugo was arrested following a two-day search after he held up the 7 Eleven store at the corner of Buffalo and E. Second Streets just after 1:30 p.m. Friday.
He reportedly used a stolen vehicle as part of the alleged robbery.
Lugo left the convenience store with a “quantity of cash” and the vehicle was found abandoned later in the day in an area near Allen Park.
Police say investigators were able to use video surveillance from outside the store to identify Lugo.
Lugo was being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court on the charges.
