JAMESTOWN – A city man has been arrested following an investigation into the alleged sales and trafficking of narcotics in the Jamestown area.
Jamestown police captain Robert Samuelson said members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 251 Crescent St. just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Once inside investigators reportedly found a quarter pound of marijuana, 2 grams of powder cocaine, and a quantity of cash and paraphernalia.
As part of the investigation, police arrested 39 year-old Antonio Wiggins and charged him with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of marijuana.
Also arrested was 53 year-old Creatia Goldsmith, who was charged with harassment and unnecessary noise after she allegedly became disorderly and struck an officer at the scene.
