JAMESTOWN – Local authorities have arrested a city man for allegedly making methamphetamine.
According to a news release from the Jamestown Police Department, on Tuesday neighbors called the police to report smoke coming from a trash can outside an apartment at 20 W. Cowden St., near the intersection with Barrett Ave. An investigation from police found that the smoke was produced by waste products from the manufacture of meth.
Police were able to enter the residence and reportedly found more material used for making meth inside.
Police arrested was 24-year-old Kyle Moore and charged him with two felony counts of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine.
