JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man was sent to the county jail after being arrested following a warrant check that led him to be combative with officers.
City police say 32 year-old Timothy Warrior had an active felony burglary arrest warrant and a petit larceny warrant. He was spotted a the Walgreens on Prospect Street at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday and was advised that he would be under arrest for the warrants. At that point he became combative and a struggle took place.
Warrior was eventually taken into custody and was found to have a quantity of crystal methamphetamine and marijuana and was transported to the city jail.
He was charged with his burglary and petit larceny warrants as well as resisting arrest, criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
