JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown City Council will be holding a work session tonight at city hall, with several council committees also scheduled to meet.
At 7 p.m., the council’s Finance Committee will meet and will review several resolutions, including the final draft of the city’s 2012 Annual Action Plan – which includes the specific CDBG and HOME funding request that will be send to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Also at 7 p.m., the council’s Public Works Committee will meet to discuss bids the city has received for concrete work on Lakeview Avenue and also bids for an infield groomer for Diethrick Park.
And the Public Safety Committee will meet at 7:15 p.m. to review special event applications for two events – including this Saturday’s ‘Hands on Jamestown’ clean up event sponsored by the DJDC and the upcoming Boys II Men concert taking place at the Ice Arena.
Tonight’s work session for the entire council will begin at 7:30 p.m. All meetings are open to the public.
