JAMESTOWN – City Arborist, Dan Stone, is asking Jamestown residents to please routinely water newly planted city trees, especially those trees that have been installed on terraces within the last five years.
“Due to the hot, dry weather we have been experiencing this summer, the City of Jamestown’s Department of Parks, Recreation & Conservation would like to remind and encourage residents to water newly planted trees in front of their homes and businesses. This is especially important for the younger trees that are trying to get established – any that have been planted within the last 5 years,” Stone said.
