CHERRY CREEK – A Cherry Creek man died Monday morning after being involved in a two-car accident on Farrington Hollow Road in Cherry Creek.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says 71 year old George Bowser Sr. lost his life after the car he was driving in was struck by an oncoming vehicle, driving by 23 year old Timothy Dolling, also of Cherry Creek. The incident took place at about 7:15 a.m. Monday morning. Investigators say Bowser was traveling south and Dolling was heading north when his vehicle crossed into the southbound lane. Bowsers vehicle then hit the driver’s side of Dolling’s vehicle, causing it to flip over and land on top of Bowser’s vehicle. Bowser was pronounced dead at the scene. Dolling was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital for treatment.
