POLAND, NY – The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding the person or persons involved with a theft that took place on I-86 during the past weekend.
Sheriff’s investigators say that some time between 5 p.m. Friday, July 22 and 6:30 a.m. Monday, July 25 an unknown subject(s) broke into a construction trailer, located in the median of Interstate 86 in the Town of Poland. Once inside the trailer, several items were stolen, including a large quantity of tools ranging from a generator to various hand tools. The trailer was owned by Cold Spring Construction.
