WASHINGTON – Congressman Tom Reed’s office announced the approval of a $2.75 million grant to the Chautauqua Center.
The grant, funded through the Health Resources and Services Administration, will be used to support health services including primary care, behavioral health, and oral health services to more than 7,000 individuals.
The Chautauqua Center is a Federal Qualified Health Center providing family medicine and wellness outpatient services to individuals of all ages. It has offices in both Jamestown (110 E. 4th Street) and Dunkirk (319 Central Ave.).
According to Reed’s office, the continued trend of physician retirements has led to private provider offices closing their panels to new patients. As a result, the Chautauqua Center meets the needs of these underserved populations.
