CASSADAGA – A Cassadaga man faces charges after leading police on a high-speed motorcycle chase Friday night.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Anthony Digangi was spotted making a traffic violation while riding his motorcycle in the town of Stockton just after after 10:15 p.m. Friday.
Police say Digangi didn’t stop for sheriff’s deputies and instead fled the area, resulting in a vehicle pursuit. He was located a short time later in the town of Gerry.
Digangi was charged with obstruction of governmental administration, unlawful fleeing of a police officer, reckless driving, speeding, aggravated unlicensed operation, operating without insurance, and riding an unregistered motorcycle – among other charges.
Digangi was arraigned in the Town of Charlotte for the Towns of Charlotte, Stockton, and Gerry. Digangi was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $10,000 / $20,000 for each Township. Digangi will appear in court at a later date to answer to his charges.
