JAMESTOWN – A Busti man was arrested on a warrant earlier this week in connection to his alleged involvement with illegal gun and drug possession and also for operating a meth lab.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, 37 year-old Christopher Light was taken into custody by Jamestown Police following a traffic Stop Monday afternoon in Brooklyn Square.
LIGHT was wanted in connection to an investigation in Busti by Lakewood-Busti Police and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force that took place in November when a search warrant at 463 Pine Ridge Rd. resulted in the discovery of the remnants of a methamphetamine lab, marijuana, a loaded Glock handgun, multiple loaded high capacity handgun magazines, a high powered rifle, and two shotguns.
Light faces several charges and is being held in the county jail.
