SILVER CREEK – A Brocton man has been arrested for possession of Methamphetamine following a traffic stop early Sunday morning in Silver Creek.
Sheriff deputies say 34 year-old David Topliffe of Brocton was stopped at bout 3:45 a.m. Sunday in the village after committing a traffic infraction. During the stop he was found to have his driving privileges suspended and a further investigation found he was allegedly in possession of powdered methamphetamine, processing materials used to make math, prescription narcotic pills, and a quantity of marihuana.
Topliffe was arrested on multiple charges, including and felony criminal possession of methamphetamine precursors and 2 counts of criminal possession of controlled substance 7th degree.
He was arraigned in Village of Silver Creek court and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail.
