Brenda Fitzgerald Named WCA’s 2015 Nurse of Distinction

JAMESTOWN – WCA Hospital is pleased to announce that Brenda L. Fitzgerald, R.N., WCA Heart Center Cardiac Rehab Specialist, was named the “2015 Nurse of Distinction” at a special breakfast held in celebration of National Nurses Week.

WCA Hospital awards the distinction to an outstanding Registered Nurse who exemplifies the mission and vision of WCA Hospital. The honoree is nominated by his or her colleagues and selected by the Nurse of Distinction Committee comprised of recipients from previous years.

The distinguished tradition at WCA Hospital began in 1989 when Elaine Hoglin was selected the first Nurse of Distinction.
