JAMESTOWN – Police in northern Chautauqua County are continuing their investigation into a reported bomb threat that halted several classes at the State University of New York State University at Fredonia Tuesday afternoon.
The Post-Journal reports various law enforcement agencies responded to Thompson Hall around 1 p.m. as students and staff were instructed to evacuate the building.
A subsequent search revealed the threat to be unfounded, according to school officials.
Classes were canceled for the afternoon, and later resumed at 5 p.m.
