JAMESTOWN – The Oscar-nominated dark comedy, Birdman, will show at Reg Lenna Center for The Arts on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m.
Starring Michael Keaton, it is nominated for several Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Actress. It has nine total nominations, tying The Grand Budapest Hotel – which showed at The Reg in spring of 2014. It is rated R and runs for 119 minutes. All seats are $5.
The Reg will next show the Oscar-nominated story of Stephen Hawking and his first wife, Jane in The Theory of Everything – Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. The film is nominated for Best Picture, Best Actor (Eddie Redmayne), Best Actress (Felicity Jones) and several more. It is rated PG-13 and is 123 minutes long.
Reg Lenna Center for The Arts is located at 116 E. Third St. in Jamestown, NY. The box office opens one hour prior to showtime. Convenient parking is located street side and in the parking ramp across from The Reg.
