JAMESTOWN – A bicyclist was sent to the hospital late Saturday night after being struck by a Jamestown Police Department patrol car in downtown Jamestown.
The Post-Journal is reporting the incident took place just before midnight Saturday at the intersection of East Second and Pine streets.
The bicyclist, who was not identified, was initially taken to WCA but declined further comment. A portion of East Second Street was temporarily closed to traffic.
No other details are available and the Jamestown Police Department has not released a report on the incident.
