JAMESTOWN – A bicyclist could face charges after he was struck by a vehicle while riding his bike the wrong way down a one-way street in Jamestown.
Jamestown police say the incident took place at about 1:30 Friday afternoon. The 21 year-old male, whose name was not released, was reportedly traveling east on West Fifth Street when he was struck by a Jeep traveling northbound on Jefferson Street.
The victim suffered minor injures to his head and right knee and was sent to WCA hospital for treatment. He was not wearing a helmet.
According to a report in the Jamestown Post-Journal, the bicyclist could face a charge for traveling the wrong way on a one-way street.
