On Thursday, Aug. 8, members of the Jamestown Public Schools administration, led by Superintendent Tim Mains, held a press conference to address and discuss the latest state test results that were released earlier this month. Because the standardized tests for English Language Arts (ELA) and Math were administered with new criteria, overall test results for students in grades 3 through 8 were significantly lower than in past years.
For our Aug. 15 episode of Community Matters, WRFA Public Affairs Director Jason Sample presented the audio from the media conference.
