BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Central School District’s 2013-14 budget has been approved by voters. More than 1,000 ballots had been cast during Tuesday’s budget revote, and the $13 million budget was passed by a margin of 601-440. The vote means the school district will avoid a austerity budget. In all, the spending plan was 5.7 percent higher than last year.
