DUNKIRK – The 133rd Chautauqua County Fair will get underway today at the county fairgrounds in Dunkirk. The week-long event will feature livestock competitions, equipment demonstrations, amusement park rides, various entertainment and plenty of food. New this year is a model train display to entertain kids and train enthusiasts.
Tickets to get into the fair are $10 each, with children ages two and under free. Senior citizens get half off gate admission. Gates open daily at 9 a.m. and Midway Rides open at 1 p.m.
