NORTH HARMONY – A Panama teen is in trouble with the law after allegedly fleeing from police who were trying to pull him over just past midnight on Saturday.
According to Sheriff’s Deputies, a road patrol attempted to pull over a vehicle after it was observed speeding at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the town of North Harmony.
The vehicle failed to comply with deputies and sped away. It was last seen travelling in excess of 100 miles per hour. The vehicle’s license plate was captured on camera via deputies on board license plate reader.
The operator was later identified as 18 year-old Clayton Manwaring. He was issued tickets for 2 counts of speed, reckless operation and failure to comply with a lawful order and will appear in Town court at a later date.
